First we have Kimberlyn with her Baby Alex. This is a doll that was given to me at her baby shower...anyhow she LOVES this doll. Baby Alex came with her own tiny accessories including her own carseat....anyhow, Baby Alex is sporting a Barbie red skirt as her cape to being Superman for the day. I was very impressed with Kimberlyn's imagination and creativity. She and Robby are very imaginative....
Next, we have Tommy claiming to have bad service for dinner. I was so impressed, I don't typically let him play with his spoon, as feeding time is not play time...well, I guess before I know it I won't be needed to feed him dinner. He's growing WAY TOO fast!

Cute kids....

Oh, so cute....
Well here is Tommy laying in the grass. He was so irritable while trying to cut his second tooth... Before our walk I wanted a picture in this sleeper. It was from the Disney store for like $5 on clearance way before I knew Tommy was a boy. I bought it hoping he was a boy figuring I'd give it to my neighbor who KNEW already that she was having a boy. Anyhow....Just love how it makes him look so long. AND it has Mickey Mouse on it :)
Much happier in his stroller... 9-11-07
Tommy meets Moo-Moo!!
Each kid has loved this rocking cow, named Moo-Moo. He was a hand me down from our neighbor when Robby was about Tommy's age now! Moo-Moo has really been around!

Kimberlyn's First Day of Pre-K!!
Kimberlyn had a wonderful first day of school last Monday (9-10-07), sh eloves her teacher too. Mrs. Hamilton is a military wife, so understands military life. I love when I feel the teachers can relate to our kids' lifestyle. Kimberlyn in her very own picked out outfit. Wearing her sister's shirt from 5 years ago! Yeh, at least she let me do her hair and she wasn't wearing PJ's. This kid loves her pajamas!!
At school just after hanging up her backpack in her cubby!
ABout two minutes before her accident. Mom can't possibly be late in picking up her kids, so of course I was 15-20 minutes early and was able to snoop on Kimberlyn while she played at recess. She was doing great, but they were all running and chasing after each other and she cut it too close to the swings. She got clobbered. I let the teacher respond as I wanted her to know that they can love her and make her feel better....but then the mama in me ran right to the rescue! Thankfully, it was just scary and left a red mark, but nothing too serious!

First boo-boo...and the Zoo!
Well Tommy woke up happy as could be Saturday morning. He was being toted around by Kaitlyn as I prepared his breakfast...she was letting the dogs in the sliding glass and Tommy reached out his hand in perfect timing to have his finger smushed! It was scary and poor Kaitlyn felt horrible, see she was not to let go of him to close the door....the rule is (now that he's so big) to have two hands on him at all times.
We put ice on it and realized a little blood was coming out from under his nail. The nail looked bruised, later when we arrived at the Columbus, OH Zoo it looked so black and blue, like it'd been hit with a hammer. Absolutely terrible. Well after his bath and or drooling fest, the dried blood got cleaned out and it just looks red now. Most wouldn't even notice it.
Nances at the Zoo
We had a great fun time at the zoo. We did the year long membership and are excited to go back.
Tommy's crazy splashin'
So here's a picture from Tommy's bath tonight. See he was having so much fun reaching into the water. he was trying to get a close up view and kept dunking his head under the running water. Then he got so tickled he fell face first into the bath. At which time I decided to hold his arm....he gets so crazy in the bath! That was still too hard to keep him stable...so he went to his normal lying down position. But darn it, the kid kicks so much you get wet just by watching!!
Robby and Warlock out back the other night....see what happens when I talk to the neighbor. Warlock could fly at any second....Larry likes to stress me out!
I need to go do the dishes and get to bed...the bus will start arriving at 7:05 am as it's been getting to school too late. The children must be in their seats at the 7:45 am bell or they are counted as tardy! And we have Kimberlyn's Pre-K teacher coming to meet us too. Is that so neat that the teacher comes to your house on your turf....perfect for Miss "I'm too Shy." Kimberlyn starts school next Monday! She's ready or wait, maybe I'm ready! She's been a handful lately...and EVERYTHING is on her time!

Did someone say a TOOTH?!?
I spotted a funny grayish spot on his bottom gum 3 nights ago....the day before yesterday I confirmed it was his first tooth. Today you can REALLY feel the very pokey top of the tooth. He really prefers us to not try and see it...but we all have been peeking in there. Once it get bigger I'll try to get a picture of it....so many changes!

New pediatrician....
Tommy saw the new doc today. We like him well and he said Tommy can start drinking regular baby formula instead of the preemie stuff. So, when we finish up the preemie stuff I'll switch him over in the next few weeks and save a couple bucks a can too!!
So on a daily basis Tommy takes about five 4oz bottles, half the time only taking 3 ozs. He also takes about 2-3 ozs of baby cereal for breakfast and about 2-3 ozs of baby food at dinner. We'll hold off on lunch time for another month or so. MOST nights he sleeps 10-11 hours, some nights he prefers his midnight snack. We can't complain as from making the bottle to climbing back in bed takes just 10 minutes, even for sleepy dad too!!
He weighs 14lbs, 14 ozs. He was measured at 27" (yeah, right), I just re-measured him...he's really just 24.5"....too funny!! He's doing great. Funny part about his weight is last night Larry and I were guessing his current weight....Larry said 16 lbs initially, then said 15 lbs. I said I thought he was just under 15 lbs.... I'm just tickled, don't mess with moms, huh?

8 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!!
I believe this may be my longest post ever...it's about time for some pictures isn't it!!! Obviously I've been busy with the move. Busy getting the kids ready for and into school. Busy taking pictures, but not downloading them...seriously it's been one month since we downloaded pics and there were 207 to download!! I'm basically going to chat about each picture and then try to be more faithful at updating this blog more often!
Tommy turned 8 months old today! What you lookin' at, haven't you seen a baby sit before!! Tommy sat last night for the first time! Naturally the camera was temporarily missing. I sat him near Dad while Kimberlyn read him a book. He was close enough so Dad could catch him if need be, but Dad wasn't needed! Very exciting!
This is of Tommy demonstrating he's huge. We all know this, BUT his first few weeks home, I seriously changed him using the width of the changing pad, not the length! Not so much anymore though!
This was taken tonight right after dinner. We were leaving Friendly's and Larry was giving the kids crap about them needing to wear a helmet as he was going to drive crazy on the way home. In all reality, the kids drove us crazy at dinner. I sure wish we had the camera inside. Kimberlyn was being silly and for whatever reason, Tommy laughed harder than I thought an eight month old baby could laugh. Which caused a chain reaction...through the restuarant! No kidding, we were trying to settle Kimberlyn down, all the while Tommy was laughing like crazy, big giggles. The older kids laughed and as we glanced around basically any family in eye-shot of our table was cracking up! It was a very embarrassing but fun family moment!
Robby's first football game!!
Today was also Robby's first football game...this was during the game. Unfortunately they lost!Robby beat after the game....He was hot!
Kimberlyn entertaining Tommy during the game!
8-20-07 Meet the teacher night...
This was at dinner after we met the kids' teachers. It was RAINING some much needed rain and we were all soaked. BUT it was Tommy's first time to sit (for a very short few minutes) in a restuarant highchair.
8-21-07 First Day of School!7:04 am, waiting for the bus!
Here's the bus at 7:19am.
Crazy mother meets kids at school. Robby and Kaitlyn just getting off the bus at school.
Bus finally delivers kids home at 2:32pm...
Let's reflect for a moment....
Tommy with ruler at 3 months old...3-26-07Tommy with ruler 8-17-07 at almost 8 months old! WOW, he's huge now!!
8-16-07Tommy doing an exam on Robby's chin...
8-15-07Tommy waiting on breakfast...
8-14-07Tommy ultimately spoiled....always being toted around by his big sis!
8-13-07Kimberlyn considering trying out for football next year!
8-12-07Tommy 7 1/2 months old at his first Petting Zoo at the Ohio State Fair in Columbus, OH. I think I may have found my favorite State fair...we had a blast and I'll post some more pics from the day later on.
Late July, about a week before we left Altus, OKSo, when Tommy had his pictures done at 9 1/2 weeks old (which was also his first day off oxygen) the photographer asked if she could put the wording on the picture and make a copy to be displayed at the pregnancy crisis center in town. I figured it would be on display in a frame on a wall.....at any rate this priceless photo of our miracle baby was like this on a shelf in an office where probably nobody even saw it. I tell you IF they could see it they'd rethought an abortion....anyhow, it's neat to me that Tommy is admiring the picture of himself. He weighed 4lbs 14 ozs in the picture in his Daddy's hands.
