DRUM-ROLL, PLEASE!!!!

Tommy is on the charts!!

Oh, you ask what charts? He's on the infant growth charts that the doctor use to track his growth. And before you wet your pants...he's barely on the bottom line -less than the 5th percentile!!!! ANd adjusted he's about 40-50th percentile for a 6 month old!

Yes, I DO have good reason to think he's heavy now. The kid weighs 16 pounds, 7.8 ounces....yes, in my book he's 16 1/2 lbs!! And a few hairs away from being 27 inches long! Man oh my, he's not the preemie we thought he was anymore!

Oh, and if that news wasn't exciting enough for you, there's more! See, Tommy is 9 months old today -to you this may only mean Christmas is 3 MONTHS away!!! So, after his weigh-in we headed to get his pictures done. We did his pictures, he did great especially for being EXHAUSTED. We even reproduced Robby's 6-month old pose...I'll post it in October when they come in. As I was reviewing and trying to pick out which pictures to buy (Larry would say TOO many) I realized that at his 6 month old sitting he could not sit and we couldn't do the all time traditional bath pose. So, the photographer was MARVELOUS and took Tommy back in to do a few bath shots.

Wake up, wake up....here's the good part. That stinker sat in the tub (kind of like a widemouthed water pail), put his hands on the edges and STOOD UP...like he'd been doing this for weeks. I literally screamed "snap the picture" to the lady...I felt bad afterwards (and apologized for sounding rude)...but how many moms can say they caught their baby's first pull-up during the photo shoot?!?!? The photographer was tickled as at first she had no idea he'd never pulled up before!
