This was from a few weeks ago...May 2nd to be exact!! Tommy was showing off his peek-a-booing skills for Grandpa N.
May 12th....at one of Kaitlyn's riding lessons...it's a good ole time for all the kids! Here's Kimberlyn looking cute with Sweetie. Fun thing about this picture is we have a picture of both of our moms when they were kids riding a pony similar in color to Sweetie...some day that will be fun for Kimberlyn to see. Tommy comes for the horse treats...
Tommy sitting on Sweetie while we were grooming her....this is what we do to pass the time while Kaitlyn has her real lesson!
May 24th....Memorial Day weekend. We first went for Kaitlyn to have a make up lesson and Daddy played with different camera settings...here are some neat shots he ended up with.
Then after her lesson we headed to the Columbus Zoo for the afternoon. Here's a well overdue family picture for you...naturally Tommy couldn't look! He was more concerned with the walking manatee behind him!
Here we have Grace, I mean Kimberlyn....this was Mom applying Kimberlyn's third band-aid...a little while after this she found a boo-boo on her elbow from her crash at the play area! SHe had FOUR band-aids....I bet they thought we abused her :)
Here we have Mommy and Tommy playing....I was blowing him kisses and he was just intrigued.
Mommy surprised and excited that Daddy caught our fun with the camera!
On our way out we hit Jack's Landing...a new amusement ride section of the Zoo....TOTALLY FUN!! Tommy's first real ride...he wasn't too impressed and wanted OUT!!
Larry, Kimberlyn, Robby and Kaitlyn on the roller coaster!
Tommy doing what he does best....looking absolutely adorable! Poor boy was so tired and he just rolled with the punches while we had fun on the rides!!

A week or two in picture review...
So we got this new camera and who were we kidding...we've taken pictures like crazy. We must have used up all our energy on taken pictures leaving no energy left over to POST pictures for you!!
Here's Kaitlyn after her very first piano lesson...April 9, 2008
Here we have some shots of Robby from a soccer game on April 26, 2008...this would be the field that took the life of our old camera :)
Here's me trying out the new camera at Kaitlyn's riding lesson...which happened to be her first time to CANTER alone....she was all on her own and did great. She had cantered in the past and on her previous riding lesson pony...but not alone :) April 28, 2008 Kaitlyn grooming Lacy.
Robby's favorite pass time...
Tommy admiring the bunny...
Tommy loves Bailey the dog...this dog never gets tired of fetching and is patiently awaiting Tommy's throw to actually "go" somewhere :>)
Kimberlyn all cute with a cat...no short suplly of farm animals here!
Walking....
Trotting...
and CANTERING!!!
So here we Kimberlyn all cute in a photo shoot with Dad....April 29, 2008
Grandpa Nance visits for one of the Nance's craziest weekends ever....May 2, 2008...we seriously had to leave two events EARLY to be at the next event on time! I scrapbooked all day on Saturday and they stayed home...the soccer game got rained out, they needed the rest for the next day!
Robby singing the National Anthem with his school choir the ShaLaLa's at the Dayton Dragon's baseball game on May 4, 2008! Notice finally an almost complete family picture with the new camera (Robby was waiting to sing), Kimberlyn being adorable on a huge baseball, and last Tommy and Mommy....we're here for the food :)
THEN we literally rushed to grab dinner and make it to church for the "Good News Cruise" Musical....
Robby had a speaking part, Kaitlyn opted to just be in the choir.

New camera...
So last week we lost our camera...Larry had it on and ready for a shot at Robby's soccer game when a player made a perfect shot...right into the camera!
Funny thing is we had just spoke about wanting a better camera....but not quite ready to unload the $$. That decision was made pretty much immediately that night.
We ordered the new camera last weekend....long story short, it's on backorder. We decided to just buy it locally and believe it or not we only spent $30 more since it was on sale!
Here are a few of the tons of pictures Larry has snapped so far!

Bye, bye bottle....
Well, I'm trying to get him off the bottle! Just as always....it's a fight to get this boy to drink. A friend suggested I let him hold the straw cup. The other cups we use he can disassemble and make a royal mess. THIS on eis from Kaitlyn and doesn't come apart easily for a toddler. He thought he was Big Stuff drinking all by himself...I had fun snapping pictures of the event! Here he's drinking...15 1/2 months old!
Now he's playing...
Here we have him swallowing (important details for a mom concerned with his fluid intake)
And finally just being cute!
Basically I give him a 4-5 oz bottle of juice watered down in the afternoon and at bedtime he gets a 4-5 oz bottle of milk...the rest is through the straw cup...God only knows how much he drinks, I can tell you how much he doesn't drink! But, during temper fits (he's really living up to being the "pistol" and losing his "angel" status) he has real tears...so he can't be dehydrated :)NO, I don't let him ride this way all the time, just a few times a week...hehehe! Seriously, he was at my neighbor's house up the street and I didn't have his carseat and it was a little chilly out so I swung by in the Mustang to pick him up! Kimberlyn and I decided he had a fun ride!

Cutest Pet Contest....
Don't know if the kids will win or not....but here are some of the pictures they submitted for the school Cutest Pet Contest! How fun...the kids paid a dollar per entry and then the students pay 25 cents per vote! I wonder if moms can vote too....hmmm :)

Crayfish...not the ideal family pet!
So on Tuesday Larry took Kimberlyn to gymnastics, I was cooking dinner and the older kids ran over to the pond behind our house to "fish." They took their net with their hopes of catching something. Tommy and I took a break from the kitchen to go see what was going on...
In Okahoma they DID in fact catch minnows and crayfish...we still have 2 crayfish (cray and Baby Cray --to Kimberlyn Baby Cray is Nemo) and FOUR minnows. They are actually pretty, they were small and transparent when the kids brought them home. Yes, if you don't recall we drove cross country with a fish tank last August during the move!
Cray got big and bossy and actually attacked Baby Cray....now we have TWO tanks. What next...
Good question....this is what was next real fish in my KITCHEN!! I think Larry said they are Blue Gills??? Not sure if that is what he called them or not.
So Dad got home and yep, we'll put them in the tank with Cray. I just shook my head, what else could I have done??!??!Happy in their new home?? I guess.
Cray not so sure about the intrusion of privacy....
Cray letting the fish know exactly how he feels about the situation...
Poor shocked fish made my decision final (the kids went on a bike ride with Dad)...poor thing shocke dout of his mind about to be a gourmet dinner for Cray! Cray is a domesticated crayfish that gets fed very well in his home....he's not going to eat these poor tortured fish the kids brought home!
As a matter of fact yesterday (Wednesday) I had to do some online crayfish research as the kids came home and realized Cray was GONE! I figure he was mad about the incident and Mom taking his gourmet dinner away the day before he was gonns high tail it outta here!! The kids and I tore up the room where Cray's tank is....NO CRAY! 35 minutes or so have passed....goodness I thought, I wonder how long he can live out of water? Which brought me on my research mission. First thing I found is most crayfish live 1-2 yrs...ah, goodness, no pity for the dead guy...he's lived almost 2 yrs with us! Finally as long as their gills don't dry out they'll be fine out of water. This info would be helpful if I had a clue when he bailed and if his gills were drying out :) We gave up on the hunt...and I prayed his dead body wouldn't smell too bad....
An hour after we realized he was gone I noticed the cat go into the living room out of the corner of my eye. I just thought somebody should check in there. This was practically the farthest place from cray's tank...yep...THERE WAS CRAY....ALIVE!We're assuming he had help along the journey by the cat or something? NO IDEA...he's back in his tank for the time being, this was his second escape, I bet it's not his last!
Oh, the fish the kids brought home were kindly released back to their proper home....the pond!
